Mishra has two...yes 2 stripes!!

I had been concentrating on Mishra to get the first page finished and for the most part it is with the exception of about 50,000 white stitches.  I've put it down until I decide if I want to go ahead and do the white stitches now or wait until I finish the whole row of pages and do the white all at once.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Here's little Mishra.

  1. i will actually get up and wash my hands several times during stitching and try to touch the stitching as little as possible, so its up to you - if you think there is a possibility of your stitching becoming dirty then leave the white til last as you dont want to be faced with trying to wash out grimey stains at the end.

  2. I would do them now. I detest stitching a lot of white as it is, so I can't imagine having ONLY white waiting for me after stitching a HAED. I try very hard to keep my hands clean all the time.

  3. I would do them now so that when you're done with a page, you know you're completely done and don't have to go back and do it. Then the next page you get, you'll have a break before you have to do the white again. I think I'd get too bored otherwise!

  4. I agree having all that white waiting for me is a recipie for disaster! I think you will be fine as long as you was your hands often (and I have seen your project set up, I know they are immaculate!). J
